1st Latin American Conference: Prevention and Treatment of Unsafe Abortion
The Latin American Consortium against Unsafe Abortion (CLACAI) is a regional network of advocates, researchers, health care providers, and professionals aim at contributing to the reduction of unsafe abortion in Latin America.
CLACAI fosters access to information on sexual and reproductive rights, and to modern and safe technologies for pregnancy termination, from a gender and equity perspectives.
CLACAI promotes exchange of information and experiences to strengthen regional and national activities related to the promotion, research, advocacy and service provision of safe abortion.
CLACAI organizes the Latin American Conference “Prevention and Treatment of Unsafe Abortion”. The goal of the conference is to create a stimulating environment for the exchange of information and experiences, and for the strengthening of the networking among CLACAI members, professionals and experts that can contribute to the improvement of women´s access to safe abortion.
